Laleham Park, Laleham, Surrey

On the site of a former manor, Laleham Park is a good space for a run. There is a path along the banks of the Thames but it is very narrow in places.

The car park by the river can be found by following signs to Laleham Park. The first hour is 50p but further costs depend on when you visit.

There is a boarded up block that would be a great place for a cafe. There are also toilets but they seemed to be locked. What a shame.

There are a number of pubs in Laleham village as well as in Chertsey which is close by. Notcutt’s Garden Centre is also a mile away and does food, and allows dogs in.

Once past the toilet block though, there is a lovely big space where dogs can run off lead. There are pathways through the trees as well as several open areas.

If you have a dog that loves to run off though, you might prefer a long lead walk as there are no barriers between the park and the road.

  1. Safe but no barriers

  4. Parking – pay and display
  5. No cafe
  6. Dog friendly
  7. Bins
  8. Mostly flat, no paths
  9. Benches – by the car parks
