About

We have been scouring the internet for advice on where to go for walks and having not found a lot we decided to make a site full of ideas.

We want to be able to offer dog walkers tips on where to walk, where to swim, where to eat and where to park. We’ll also comment on whether there are enough bins, hazards to dogs such as a lot of rubbish or if there are restricted access times.

Being a solo walker can be tricky. You don’t want to leave your beloved dog outside to go and order food, or in the car while you find a loo, so we want to include tips on where you can take your dog along too.

Barnaby is a Dogs Trust dog, part Alsatian and part Labrador, born in 2009 and rehomed as a pup, then after his owner died he went back to Dogs Trust and went into the kennels at DT Harefield on the very day that Laura was looking for her first dog. He was sharing a kennel with a rottweiler and while it bounced about he was curled up asleep. Laura spotted him and it was love at first sight. That was January 2017 and she still loves him from the tip of his tail to his little wet nose.
